Yep! You heard right.

Pinegate Road is hiring a part time designer. If you are part of the Pinegate Road community and have been receiving the newsletter, you might have heard this morning. Two weeks ago I wrote about six steps to take if you are starting to feel the burnout. One of my learnings over the past several months has been that hiring help has made all the difference. Adding Gwen to the team has been amazing so far — she’s really taught me that I can start to rely on others to bring my client’s visions to life. While Gwen will most definitely be sticking around, she’s in the same spot that I am — working full-time and running her side business. Now that things have started to pick up speed around here, I’m ready to take on 1-2 other designers who are willing to learn the PGR process and work alongside me to bring some beautiful brands to life.

If you are a designer that aligns with the general Pinegate Road aesthetic, have experience working with brands, have a keen eye for typographic details, and love dreaming up new design possibilities, I’d love to hear from you. Similarly, if you have a friend or acquaintance who you think fits the bill, please send them here. Immediate needs include web design, social media build outs, layout design, and brainstorming ideas for brands. As we work together, needs will expand based on your availability, interests, and the needs PGR has.

Ideally, I am looking for someone who works freelance or has availability to work during the typical 9-5 and have some meetings later on at night. This is where my schedule falls short, and having someone to back me up while Gwen and I are at work would be amazing. This is a paid position, and will be paid by the hour based on experience or on a project by project basis. 10-30 hours per month — flexible based on availability / project flow. You can be located remotely as well — know that I am in the eastern timezone and we will have to chat via skype on some evenings. Adobe creative suite / your own equipment is necessary.
